Class is in!
We had so much fun with our Princess Tea Parties and have painted the cutest little Tea sets! Thanks for coming and having tea and snacks with us. All the princesses looked beautiful in their best dresses.
Don't miss out on our last summer workshop!
Lilly Ollo Silver Clay
For ages 10 and older, from 10-12:30pm
If you've done our Silver Clay before, you know that it is really easy to do and there are so many options of what you can choose from! With the silver, you can create a pendant for a necklace, charms for a bracelet or earrings and even a key chain! We have stamps for girls and boys to choose from. After our silver is all stamped out, everyone will get to tye dye a t-shirt, so be sure to wear some old clothes that you do not mind getting stained. Only $40 plus tax.
August 5th at our Poplar Location
August 6th at our Wolfchase Location
We're ready for adult classes!
We've had a lot of Kid Workshops, but we've heard that some of the adults would like some classes too! With our new glass that is in, we've decided to start with that. Sign up to learn about our fused glass and by the end of the night, you'll be a glass expert. It's SUPER easy with great results. Register early, because there is limited space available! We will be making a 10" black base plate with a cute and colorful square design like the picture below. The class is $45 and we will also slump your glass for no additional charge ($6 value).
August 6th at our Wolfchase Location from 6:30-8:30pm
August 7th at our Poplar Location from 6:30-8:30pm
What is this glass fusing?
All glass done in our studio is fused. Starting with a base piece of glass, you add other decorative glass to it by temporarily gluing it to the base. After that, we fire it in our kiln to "fuse" all the glass together into one solid piece.
What does it mean to slump the glass?
When your glass piece is done with the first firing to fuse it together, you have a choice to place it in a mold and slump it to that shape (this will turn it into an actual dish). Typically you will see pieces with curled up edges. That is what slumping looks like.
Lilly Ollo Changes
We have a new schedule for Lilly Ollo Silver. This is to ensure you get an approved Lilly Ollo Pro to assist in making your fine silver. The schedule is as listed:
EVERY Monday only at our Wolfchase Location
EVERY Friday only at our Poplar Location
Now until August 1st one 7 gram package of Lilly Ollo will be $40. AFTER August 1st, the price will be $45 per 7 gram package, due to the price of silver rising.
It's time for stories again!
School is back in, which means story time is back on the schedule! What is Story Time? On certain days during the month, in the morning, you can come and sit on our Story rug and listen to a children's story. When the story is done, everyone will get to paint a figurine corresponding to the book that was read. It's only $10 plus tax. Keep posted for the dates it will take place!
We will post the dates sometime this week for August Story Time days.
