A Fresh Start with 2010!

We have a lot of new events coming up and we look forward to seeing you there! Stay tuned for more classes each month as we update. Feel free to follow us, by clicking the "Follow" button on the top left corner of the page next to the search bar to hear all about what goes on at Paint a Piece.

You ladies asked for it, and it's back! For those of you who are just now tuning in, Dish, Dine, Paint and Wine is similar to a "girls night out"! You bring the wine, friends and even food if you'd like and we have the platters, paint and tricks to making the cutest pieces to show off. Our artist can teach you all you need to know about "secret techniques" to getting the best out of your painting. Come and sign up soon, the seats fill up fast and because they do, payment is required when you sign up. The classes are $45 plus tax. This covers the platter and studio fee for you. Be sure to have your friends call and sign up too! If you have a group of 4 or more sign up, your price can drop to $40. They are always held on Tuesday nights from 7-9:30. So call the babysitter and come out for some fun! Here are the next few classes we have coming up:

Swirly Cross Platter
Last year we started classes on this platter and have one more class for you to learn how to make it. It's been a lot of fun!

On the 26th of January, we will be finishing up our last class at our Poplar Location. Call that Location during their open hours to reserve a seat for you and your friends!

Our Story Valentine's Platter
Just in time for Valentine's, paint the story of your family on your platter. You can put your first date, kiss, when you were married, got your first house or when your first one came into your lives. Make sure when you come you have some dates to commemorate all of your "first moments". Come make it a date night for the two of you or come paint it individually. It's up to you! :)

We'll be painting this on Saturday, February 6th at our Wolfchase Location. This is the only class not on a Tuesday night so that you are able to get your platter back in time for Valentines day. For our Poplar Location, we will be having this class on Tuesday, February 8th. They will both be at our usual time from 7-9:30pm.

We know these plates might look intimidating, but it's really not as hard as one would think! Remember, we have the secrets to make it look amazing!

It's Football time! Want to show off your team spirit during the Superbowl? Come, Monday January 25th from 6-9pm at either location and paint a dish with your favorite team logo on it. We can help you, having prints of your favorite team logo for you to trace. We will provide pizza, but you’re more than welcome to bring your own food and beverage of choice to share with your friends. Not really into sports? Leave the guys in their lazy boys in front of "the tube" and come paint something for yourself with some friends. How much? You’ll only pay the price of your pottery plus a $7 studio fee! Sign up today!

Because Valentine's is just around the corner and we are having two Lilly Ollo Days just for you dad's who are searching for that perfect gift this year. Lilly Ollo silver is just another little thing that Paint a Piece is offering for a gift. It's easy and quick to do and lasts a lifetime. You can put the children's fingerprints in them, an innitial or we have a variety of stamps to choose from for your silver. Come on in between the hours of 12-5 on the 29th of January at our Wolfchase Location and on the 31st of January at our Poplar Location to get your very own customized silver necklace. The Lilly Ollo Silver is 99.9% silver and is $45 plus tax. This Silver takes a week to get fired, polished and antiqued, so don't delay in getting your silver charms. If these times don't work out for you, call either of our locations and one of our Employee's can set up an appointment with a Lilly Ollo Pro for you. Necklace chords are sold separately at $9 each, or turn your charms into a pair of earrings for only $3.

Do your little ones like to listen to stories and read books? Bring them to our Story Time, where we read a book on our Story Time rug and after reading, we paint a small piece that coincides with the story. It's $10 plus tax and is from 10:00am to 11:30am. Stay updated for the new dates in the next upcoming months!

For the month of January we are having one story time at our Wolfchase Location on Wednesday, the 20th. After that our next storytimes for February are listed below:

Poplar Location
Wednesday, February 10th and Tuesday, February23rd

Wolfchase Location
Tuesday, February 2 and Wednesday, February 17th

Now it's really for a girls night out! Anyone between the ages of 9-14 can come and join the fun as we paint, play games, eat pizza and have fun. Tween Night is held at both of our locations once a month from 6:00pm-8:30pm. They'll get to paint a piece of pottery, eat some free pizza, play some fun games and have chances to win free prizes! It's a lot of fun so be sure to call and sign up so we can have the games and fun prepared. All you need to bring is yourself and some friends for the fun. This January, it's on Friday the 29th and will be $25. We will be making something for Valentine's Day to either give as a gift or keep for yourself. Hope to see you there!!

Coming Soon!
Here are some things to look forward to in Febrary! Stay updated for details!
