Which means, after a splash in the pool, it's time to head into Paint a Piece for a few hours to paint!! It is not too late to sign up for some of our Summer Workshops going on. If you'd like to know more about our Workshops, click the link above (or anywhere it says "Summer Workshop"). There have been some pictures added so you can see what we will be painting. Don't forget that after each Summer Workshop, your child will get their own personalized Paint a Piece t-shirt, that they will Tye Dye themselves, just like the ones that our employees have been wearing. Don't worry about the mess Moms! Even if you do not come in an outfit you don't mind getting stained, we have some protective coverings for the kids to wear over their cute little outfits. Our Workshops are held at both of our locations in Germantown and Cordova, on the same days and times, unless otherwise notified. It's going to be a whole lot of fun and we hope to see everyone there!
Wednesday, June 3, we are starting our "Roaming Gnome" Summer Workshop.
At the Workshop, all the children will get to paint their own "Jake" the Gnome! Take Jake on your Summer vacations and take pictures of you two having fun. At the end of your vacation, e-mail the pictures to fun@paintapiece.com, and we will have a scrapbook in our studios just for the fun everyone had with Jake!
It's $25 for this Workshop, and is for anyone 5 years of age or older.
Tween Night is coming up, so be sure to call and sign up for some free pizza, games, and prizes!! It's a great way to start the Summer and hang out with your friends on a Friday night. It's much better than sitting at home being bored! From 6-9pm at either location on June 19th we will start the fun! You're more than welcome to bring something to drink, your favorite CD and most importantly, your friends. Tween Night is for anyone between the ages of 10 to 14 and costs $7, the price of the piece of pottery you pick, and tax.
We had a great Mother's Day this year and a lot of creative things went on in the studios. We would love to give a big high-five to all those awesome dad's who came in to make something for mom!
Now it's our turn to honor the dads and all the things they do for the family. We have mugs and cereal bowls for the kids to put hand prints on and for dad to eat or drink out of everyday! Our mugs range from $10 to $18 and our bowls are $10 or $14. Remember that all of our Bisque is food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe. We glaze our products in a lead free glaze and our paint is safe as well. Father's Day is June 21st so be sure to give yourself 3-5 days to get the pottery back finished.
We also have a Father's Day Summer Workshop going on this month on June 15th! You and dad can paint bowls to put popcorn, candy or whatever you like in it. This bowl is a cute dotted rimmed bowl that will not be available outside of the Workshop.
Dad's can either come in and paint their own bowl, or leave the creativity up to the kids! This is for children ages 5 or older and costs only $25 plus tax, so don't delay and sign up today!
